UNICORN PIN + MAGICAL VIBES
Confession: I’ve previously written a post about the inspiration behind my unicorn enamel pin on my old blog. There’s always more space for positive vibes though, right?
I recently had a stall at Edinburgh Indoor Market. It’s a fairly new market organised by Social Larder held at the uber cool Biscuit Factory. The event has such fun vibes – great food stalls, talented makers, live music plus it’s kid AND dog friendly.
A pretty fantastic way to spend a weekend. Here are some photos of some of the amazing vendors plus unique gifts and items to be found. The market is monthly so keep an eye out for the next one – it’s not to be missed.
UNICORN VIBES
As I was packing up for the weekend, a little girl approached my stall and picked up one of a unicorn pin.
‘By the power of unicorn‘, she shouted.
Then proceeded to pick up every other unicorn gift and shout the same.
You go, girl.
She made my weekend. It’s reactions like this that make me so happy to be designing fun gifts and cards. I like to make people smile. I like them to shout fun things out at my designs at markets. Or secretly do a little happy dance when they receive their cool gift order from me. Yeah, it’s what it’s all about.

In one, loudly exclaimed phrase this little girl had summed up exactly what the unicorn pin is all about.
The power of unicorns, self belief, confidence and positivity.
Since forming Ladykerry, I’ve had the honour of meeting so many entrepreneurs and talented makers. What has struck me is how many lack confidence in themselves. The unicorn pin is for them. It’s for you. It’s for anyone who needs that little extra confidence. And the message? Believe in yourself.
