Well, it’s been a while! I’ve been up to no good… I mean, I got pregnant, had a baby, got locked down (like the rest of the world). I’ve still been designing in the background and we probably have a LOT to catch up on. But the biggie is – I’ve launched a children’s book Kickstarter!
Originally written and illustrated for my little one’s first birthday, I decided it would be out of this world if I could publish it for real! I’ve put a lot of thought into making it fun and engaging, and I’d love to get it to children’s bookshelves everywhere!
The bears are taking part in fun, recognisable activities (such as drawing and gardening) to add familiarity for children. It uses simple rhyming language but with a few trickier words thrown in for learning opportunities. And, of course, it wouldn’t be by me if it didn’t have a few puns thrown in there too!
