Even more so, I love designing funny birthday cards! It’s a joy being able to create unusual card designs for you to send, and I love playing a small part in bringing a little extra happiness to someone’s life.
Because that’s what sending cards is all about – for the smiles, for the laughs, for the connections.

GIN BIRTHDAY CARD
Ah, gin. Almost everyone’s favourite tipple right now. I love gin. And I have lots of gin loving friends. I bet you do, too. So what could be better than a gin birthday card?
I kept this design minimal and quirky – I wanted the phrase to stand out. It’s hand-lettered then digitally coloured, and has been printed on a light purple background. This is one of my absolute favourite puns to date (and clearly yours too!) – a quirky French/English combination: “I hope your birthday has that certain gin ne sais quoi”.
Lots of people have told me that they gift this gin birthday card with a bottle of gin (or a selection of small gins!). Coming from a gin lover, I think that’s a perfect gift! Here are a few of my own favourite gins right now…
CACTUS BIRTHDAY CARD
This cactus cutie was originally created as a button badge for the Ladykerry Birthday Pop Up Gift Shop to give away in the goody bags. But it spiralled out of control… you guys LOVED this little cactus design so much that I just had to develop it into new gifts . So now, everyone’s favourite cactus features as a cactus birthday card, a cactus enamel pin badge and a giclee art print.
This cute birthday card – featuring a birthday twist on modern slang – has been making birthday celebrations across the globe on point. Team it up with either the art print or cactus enamel pin badge to make the perfect cactus lover gift!

DINOSAUR BIRTHDAY CARD
This funny dinosaur birthday card was one of my earliest designs, and is still a firm favourite. It doesn’t specify birthday so can be adapted for any celebration – but is ideal to send as a funny birthday card. Especially if you want to poke fun at someone’s age. You wouldn’t do that now, would you?
It’s bright, bold, cheeky and fun. You’ll definitely win playful points if you send this as a birthday card.
As always, I hand-drew the design (including the lettering ‘time to party like you’re going extinct‘) then digitally coloured. If you know a quirky person celebrating their birthday, then this is the card for them! Even better if they’re Jurassic Park lovers / a dinosaur groupie.
