Super excited to announce you can now buy Ladykerry enamel pins and cards from Allium, South Queensferry.
Allium is a quirky gift shop in the beautiful town of South Queensferry, Scotland. They have an eclectic selection of gifts – from pottery to bags, cards to jewellery, books to mugs, and art prints to candlesticks. I’m honoured to be part of it!
I took photos of some of the quirky things you can find in Allium.
Allium’s ethos is all about showcasing Scottish artisans and makers. It’s run by mother and daughter duo Kirstin and Janette.
This talented duo are also both jewellers and a selection of their stunning jewellery can be found in Allium. Watch out for their new Queensferry Crossing inspired jewellery range!
Have you been to South Queensferry before? It’s well worth a trip. Easily accessible from Edinburgh (I rocked it on the Lothian Country bus 43), it’s a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. I love all the little shops, cafes and – of course – the views. You could easily spend hours admiring the bridges and taking in the sea air.
Or, you could admire the views while enjoying lunch! My favourite lunch spot in South Queensferry is The Railbridge Bistro. My boyfriend swears by their hearty bowl of Cullen Skink. For me, it’s their sticky toffee pudding that hits the spot.
Minus a view but not minus the charm, The Ferry Tap is a great place for drinks. It’s a fuss free and welcoming local pub. Get a cheese toastie and a pint, and settle in for a few hours of chat with the friendly staff and locals.
Do you have any South Queensferry tips? Feel free to share so that I can add it to my to do list for the next time I visit. And, of course, if you pop into Allium let me know!
