If you’ve seen any of my other work, you’ll probably guess that much of my sense of humour comes from my dad. Yup. It’s dad jokes and terrible puns all round. But hey, they make me smile. And I learned from the best. Which is why I designed this fun fathers day card!
I hand-drew the quirky lettering then digitally coloured. The white lettering is contrasted by a bright blue background, and has been printed onto thick 300gsm stock (with a slight sheen to it to make those colours pop further).
The dad joke message says “I would write dad jokes in this card but you didn’t teach me any good ones”. Of course, it’s totally up to you if you do want to write dad jokes in the card… the inside has been left blank for you to tailor your perfect fathers day message! It also makes a perfect birthday card for dad – after all, the dad jokes are all year round!
